When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, and optional profile photo. When you create a party, we store the party details you provide including child's name, age, venue, date, and any videos or photos you upload.
When guests RSVP, we collect their name, email, phone number, dietary requirements, and any video responses they record.
We use your information to provide the Sparkz Party service, including: managing your account, creating and sharing party invitations, processing RSVPs, managing gift pot contributions, coordinating lift shares, and sending notifications about your parties.
Party credits and gift pot contributions are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe handles all payment information in accordance with PCI DSS standards. We only receive confirmation of successful payments along with the amount contributed.
Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. Session data is encrypted and transmitted over HTTPS. Photos and videos are stored in secure cloud storage.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Party details are only visible to the host and invited guests who have the party code. Gift pot contributions may display contributor names to the party host unless marked as anonymous.
Sparkz Party is designed for parents to plan children's parties. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. All accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian. Children's names and ages are provided by parents for party planning purposes only.
Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile information at any time through the app. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, please contact us at [email protected].
