Born in 1862 in Castelletto di Brenzone, Italy, she dedicated her life to serving the poor and needy as well as assisting the sick and the elderly. A New Hampshire native, Venerable William Gagnon (19051972) encountered several obstacles to his desire for religious life but nevertheless persevered in his pursuit of a vocation.
